During autumn and winter, many homes have water droplets hanging on the window glass and the window sills are discolored and black. 90% of the homeowners think it's due to water leakage from the windows, but in fact, it's caused by the failure of the doors and windows' insulation performance to meet standards, resulting in condensation.

When the indoor temperature is high and the outdoor temperature is low, and the doors and windows have poor insulation capacity, the surface temperatures of the glass and the profiles drop sharply. The indoor moisture meets the cold and condenses into water. Over time, this will lead to mold on the window sills, dampness in the walls, and peeling of the wall plaster at the window edges.

Solutions: First, replace with high-insulation PA66 multi-chamber insulation strips to block the transmission of cold and heat; second, upgrade to Low-E double-pane or triple-pane glass with two chambers to reduce the temperature difference between the glass; third, choose warm-edge spacer strips to eliminate cold bridges at the edges of the glass and prevent condensation.

Reminder: Ordinary single-chamber insulated break windows are high-risk areas for condensation. When purchasing a new home, try to avoid them.
