1. The frame is filled with inferior foam: The foamed material shrinks and cracks, allowing rainwater to seep into the interior through the gaps. The high-quality polyurethane foam is full and dense, and the outer layer is then sealed with weather-resistant silicone.
2. There is no equal-pressure drainage cavity: The inferior break-through has no hidden drainage holes, and rainwater accumulates inside the frame and floods into the house. The genuine window frame comes with internal and external layered drainage.
3. Incorrect sealant selection for exterior wall: For the interior, use neutral sealant, while for the exterior, it must be weather-resistant sealant. Ordinary sealant will crack and leak after 1-2 years of exposure to sunlight and rain.
4. Inappropriate installation slope: The window frame is lower on the outside and higher on the inside, which is convenient for rainwater to flow outwards. The inverted slope is prone to water accumulation and backflow.
5. Aging and falling off of the sealant: The inferior PVC sealant hardens and cracks within 1-3 years, while the TPE sealant is durable for about 20 years.
